1. Overview
These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the text messaging program operated by New Tyler Barber College, Inc. (“New Tyler,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from New Tyler, you agree to these Terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy.
2. Program Description
New Tyler uses this SMS program to communicate with prospective and enrolled students about:
- Responses to inquiries submitted via newtylerbarbercollege.edu.
- Admissions follow-up, enrollment, and appointment reminders.
- Program information for the Barber-Stylist and Instructor Trainee programs.
- Financial aid and student services communications.
- General customer service responses to questions you submit.
3. How to Opt In
You may opt in to the New Tyler SMS program by:
- Submitting a form on newtylerbarbercollege.edu with your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box; or
- Providing your mobile number to New Tyler staff and confirming your consent verbally or in writing.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or of any purchase or service.
4. Message Frequency & Cost
Message frequency varies depending on your enrollment status and the nature of your inquiry.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to all SMS messages. New Tyler is not responsible for charges from your wireless carrier.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP) & Get Help (HELP)
Opting out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by calling (501) 375-0377.

6. Supported Carriers
Our SMS program operates on major U.S. wireless carrier networks including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Boost, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy & Data Sharing
No mobile information, including SMS opt-in data, consent, and phone numbers, will be shared with or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data may only be shared with vendors that directly support our messaging service (such as our SMS platform provider), and only to deliver these messages.
8. Disclaimers
- New Tyler and its messaging service providers are not liable for delays or failures in message delivery, which are subject to your mobile network.
- SMS services are provided on an “as-is” basis.
- New Tyler reserves the right to modify or discontinue the SMS program at any time, with or without notice.
- These Terms may be updated periodically; the Effective Date above reflects the most recent revision.
